Yes there are definitely things that suck about it. I think perhaps those issues don't hit exactly the same way for me because I'm a chronic illness survivor and I have been at war with my physical body now for longer than I even care to acknowledge. So the physical parts of menopause, for me, may simply be bundled in with the shit I already deal with on the daily lol 😆

Ha! Same here! 😄 I have my one or two cups in the morning and I'm good. Crack would put me in the ground within a week these days lol

Oh my goodness that sounds miserable. I know some women really do go through it. It's just unjust how much some women suffer with reproductive issues.

Yeah I could never be domesticated again. 😄

I also love that I am out of both ground-bound *and* flying fucks. But for me unfortunately that doesn't make up for the PMDD, chronically sore tits, digestive issues etc 😓 I'm glad this has been a positive change for you though ❤️

I’m with you- the PMDD especially had me feeling pretty crazy for awhile there. Then I bled for half of last year. The “cure” for that has come with cramps about half the time. I do feel free-er and more myself than I’ve ever been, but there’s been some rough days. Btw- just had my 55th and I’m still having regular periods. I’m jealous of my friends who stopped years ago. When is it my turn?

I feel blessed to not have had any period for years now. I truly hope it's your turn soon. 😄❤️

PMDD is the worst! But yes to feeling freer ❤️

I hear that. A few years ago I mostly lost my libido and it's quite nice not to be making bad decisions because of my dick. It took me quite a while to figure out, "Don't fuck crazy." Not to say I don't notice a nice looking woman, I just now don't feel the need to do a damn thing about it. And as a back-up plan I've taken to wearing ham radio hats. They are quite effective lady repellents.

And stimulants.. I don't think I've got another crack run left in me. Hell, I can't even do a full pot of coffee anymore.

I suffered with mine for a while but fortunately it didn't ruin my life for long. I had some female friends who went through far worse than I did. I remember one in particular who literally dripped sweat rolls all over her face and upper body. She was the pianist for a girl chorus I directed and she could hardly make it through a one-hour rehearsal.

My menopause was a breeze compared to some women I’ve known, though, as you said, not without challenges like hot flashes. I also picked the wrong men so that shit’s behind me. I never wanted to remarry anyway, once was enough. Freedom never felt so good.

I am glad that menopause is behind me, although it wasn't too bad for me - some hot flashes and night sweats, and irregular periods for awhile. Nothing like my poor Mama went through until she had a hysterectomy. After that, she was fine and enjoyed the last 31 years of her life very much.

Yeah my mom had a full hysterectomy in her early 30's and I watched her go through all the menopause stuff years before she should have had to.
